In a historical photographic survey, Bailey Davidson documents, with meticulous attention to detail, the evolution and transformation of the city of Milledgeville, Georgia from a frontier capital city to the modern, collegiate city that exists today. Divided into chapters of Homes, Downtown, and Places, one hundred images, many dating as far back as the mid-19th Century, have been collected and rephotographed from the exact point of view.
